We are hiring! This highly creative business is looking for someone of excellent character with great administrative and organisational skills to assist with the day to day operations within the business.

Duties will include operating the business reception and being the first point of contact for the telephones and answering the front door. In addition to running the reception, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the following roles:

Day to day:

finance assistance and management of petty cash
Research for a range of exciting creative projects
Diary management for staff
Booking/ordering equipment, deliveries (incoming and outgoing), managing inventory of office and promotional equipment onsite and offsite
Site visits for events to gather information
Organising office equipment and stock levels
Liaising with clients regarding information required for a range of creative and interesting projects
Developing existing health & safety policies both for the office and external events
Data analysis for social media and market research
Developing better business processes for Pink Sky
Management of rooms and booking, whilst also making sure rooms are ready to receive visitors
Providing a high level of customer service at all times, and dealing appropriately and professionally with customers.
Producing high quality typed documents and spreadsheets to support a range of creative projects
Assisting with creative tasks and the production of materials and props to deliver specific projects on time and on budget

Working Week: 37.5 hours: 9am-5:30pm with one hour for lunch


Weekly Wage: £ 3.50 per hour

Skills Required:


● Excellent communication skills (written and telephone)

● Good mathematical skills

● Good analytical skills

● Experience of using spreadsheets and basic office applications

Qualifications Required:


A range of GCSE’s, with English and Maths ideally at grade C or above’


Personal Qualities:


The successful candidate must be highly motivated and driven, able to work both by themselves and as part of a team. We are looking for excellent organisational skills and a good presentation of self and the working environment. We value a positive attitude and a smiling face! As well as having a natural aptitude for effectively communicating with customers, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate their desire to learn and develop within our organisation, who will represent our brand well both internally and externally. Punctuality is important, and the ability to drive a car is preferable.


Future Prospects:


Progression to an advanced apprenticeship in the second year is an option for the right candidate, or the potential for a permanent position within the company upon completion of the apprenticeship.


Important Other Information:


From 1st October 2015 The National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year-old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their

Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.


Reality Check:


This role may require occasional weekend work, where shows and promotions require administrative support. Any weekends worked will be compensated with time off in lieu. The candidate is entitled to 20 days holiday per year, as well as bank holidays.
